We are grateful that you are thinking of becoming a FUNDRAISING angel to help with our funraising work!
1] Advocacy and public awareness campaigns requires good financial support to design, print, distribute, send by post and generally deliver leaflets, posters and abuse perevention resources to the public.
2] To set up & maintain our PRECIOUS WOMAN HOMES both in Scotland and overseas we require a lot of financial support from partners, both private and corporate. We need all the help we can get!
If you have a desire to volunteer carry out a fundraising events on a small scale such as holding a jumble sale, a raffle, a dinner or a sponsored walks within your locality, we are keen to hear from you.
Duties of Volunteer Staff Fundraiser:
Our dedicated team volunteer staff member will be willing to:
1] Organise fundraising events alone or with their team of helper angels. [We provide guidance & training]
2] Approach individuals and local businesses for support for the cause.
3] Able to deliver our collection boxes to the local community, businesses, churches and other suitable places.
4] Work with his/her local community to help raise awareness and funding support.
Requirement To become a Fundraiser:
Must be a matured age 16 or over.
Must be reliable and dependable.
Must be accountable and can be trusted with handling money safely 7 honestly.
Must be willing to work with others and open to being supervised & directed.
Must have no criminal record relating to fianancial matters.
Must be able to provide 2 references from credible sources.
Must have time to actually be an effective volunteer.
